Day 5, the last day of diving for this trip, we dove at Kandooma Thila in the South Male atoll for the 1st dive of the day. There was a nice current. Right after we entered the water there were hundreds of Bigeye Trevallies a little further away. As we drifted with the current, a Grey Reef Shark swam by. The 2nd dive was at Maagiri Rock in the North Male atoll. The number of the Garden Eels and Spaghetti Eels here are unbelievable! And the Aurora Partner Gobbies and Dracula Shrimp Gobbies were found in betweens as we headed the lone reef in the sand area. The Bluestriped Snappers were gathered at the reef. Besides, four of the Longnose Hawkfish were found and even a Manta Ray passed above the reef! The 3rd dive was at Fish Tank. False Moorish Idols and Moontail Bullseyes welcomed us in the water. Pink Whiprays and Spotted Eagle Rays gave us the feeling of the aquarium. And we were soooooo lucky to have the special guest of Giant Guitarfish! What a surprise we had at last!! It was very friendly that stayed with us for a while! After dive we celebrated a couple of the guests’ memorable dives! The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm or 5 mm wetsuit was recommended. The visibility was 20-40m.
Thank you all for joining us and also for making this trip fantastic. Hope to see you all again.
