Day 3, we have arrived at the farthest south of Ari atoll for the encounter with Whale Sharks. The 1st dive of the day was at Kudarah Thila in the South Ari atoll. A big school of Bluestripe Snappers welcomed us at the end of the swim through. Humpback Red Snappers also joined to the crowd! My favorite was the Sea Goldies on top of the reef. Then, Bluefin Trevallies attacked a big school of Neon Fusiliers were happening right next to the Sea Goldies. It was such a fulfilling morning dive. The 2nd dive was at Dhigurah Out and the 3rd was at Lux Out. For both of them, we were aiming for Whale Sharks. Unfortunately we could not make it happened. Instead, a couple of Spotted Eagle Rays passed by, Leaf Scorpionfish, Reef Stonefish and Whitetip Reef Sharks were seen. The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm or 5 mm wetsuit was recommended. The visibility was 10-40m. To be continued…
