Hi! We just came back from the latest trip of #Male, #Ari, #Vaavu and Male again route. Here is the trip report! The 1st dive was at Lankan Reef in the North Male atoll as a check dive. We were welcomed by about 50 of Tiera Batfish. Unfortunately there was no Manta but the Hawksbill Sea Turtle appeared while our safety stop gave us a joyful moment. The 2nd dive was at Kan Thila in the North Ari atoll. There was no current as same as the 1st dive. These dives were good warming up for the guests. Still we could observe Grey Reef Sharks, Spotted Eagle Rays and Dogtooth Tunas at the open water side. The middle layer near the top of the reef was occupied with Neon Fusiliers and Yellowback Fusiliers. Then, Grey Reef Sharks and Whitetip Reef Sharks swam back and forth. This is the place for Shark fans! The 3rd dive was at Maayafushi Lagoon, aiming for the night Manta dive. Total six of Manta Rays we could observe for entire 60 minutes! The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm or 5 mm wetsuit was recommended. The visibility was 10-20m. To be continued…
