It took long time to get here, but we finally reached to the Baa atoll safely. The weather was very nice, such a beautiful day! The 1st dive of the day was at Dhonfanu Thila. We could see the bottom of the 50+ meter of depth! That’s how incredible the visibility was! Grey Reef Sharks came observe us but quickly swam away. The number of Neon Fusiliers and Variablelined Fusiliers were extraordinary. I felt like I was in a tornado of the fish. Then, the hunters such as Giant Trevallies, Bluefin Trevallies and Dogtooth Tunas attacked the fish tornado. The excitement had not yet ended. There was a moment that all the fish suddenly moved in a weird way. Guess what? It was Dolphin passed by! What a surprise! Besides, a huge Napoleon appeared as well. The 2nd dive was at Dega Thila. Longnose Hawkfish were found in the bush. There were also many of Black Coral Shrimps. After the dive, we searched for the frenzy Manta in the Hanifaru bay, but there was no sign of them unfortunately. Then, the surprise number 2 of the day happened during our third dive’s briefing. Guess what? It was a Whale Shark appeared very close by our boat!! Forget about the briefing! We jumped into the water and snorkeled with it for about 20 minutes! Hooray!! The 3rd dive was at Dhonfanu Rock. We enjoyed macros. The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm or 5 mm wetsuit was recommended. The visibility was 10-30m. To be continued…
