Day 3, the 1st dive of the day was at Kihaa Rock in the Baa atoll. There were many of Neon Fusiliers in the mid-layer. And such hunters like Bluefin Trevallies were attacking them. The Nurse Sharks were asleep at the overhang. After the 1st dive we headed to the Hanifaru bay for snorkeling with the frenzy Manta Rays since it was scheduled for us. We could snorkel with about a dozen of Manta Rays for one and a half hours! The 2nd dive was at Dega Thila. We found many of Longnose Hawkfish! And also found a cute Commerson’s Frogfish! It was the first time for me to see it in Maldives! Yay! The 3rd dive was at Kihaadhoofaru Thila for a sunset dive. I like to see the water color gradually changes to the dark color with a sunset dive. We found a lot of Octopuses!
The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3-5 mm wetsuit was recommended. The visibility was 10-30m. To be continued…
