Day 4, the first 2 dives of the day were at Lobera de San Francisquito. The visibility was 15-20 meter. The water temperature was 27 deg.C. It was such a busy and joyous spot that the big cohesive school of Bigeye Scads which we could often encounter here was amazing as always! They suddenly made a big black wall in front of us. We could even hear the roar sounds of their every movements. Besides, the Barracudas’ river was beautifully streaming. And the Sea Lions surprised us with a sudden appearance! They seemed that they were interested in divers. The 3rd dive was at the Punta Tintorera. The visibility was 15-18 meter. The water temperature was 25-27 deg.C. There were Spottail Grunts here and there in the rocky field. I like their gingham check-ish pattern. The endemic Cortez Garden Eels were also clearly seen in the sand area. The 4th dive was at Punta Fun Baja as a night Mobula dive. The water temperature was 27 deg.C. Although it took a while for them to gather and show up, we made it eventually! There also were plenty of Sardine juveniles that kind of blocked our vision despite the fact that the visibility wasn’t bad. To be continued…
