The day 3, the 1st dive of the day was at Kudarah Thila in the South Ari atoll. The current was strong but that worked better to make Fusiliers and Snappers a big crowd. The visibility was fantastic, which was what you expected in Maldive. The hunters, such as Giant Trevallies and Bluefin Trevallies were attacking those Fusiliers and Snappers. We, of course, checked up on the families of endemic Maldivian Anemone fish at the end. The 2nd dive and the 3rd dive were at Lux Out, which was located the south end of the South Ari atoll. Unfortunately the main attraction here, Whale Sharks, didn’t show up this time. However, we still enjoyed observing Whitetip Sharks, Napoleon, Black Pyramid Butterflyfish and Evansi Anthias.
The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm or 5 mm wetsuit was recommended. To be continued…
