The day 5, although we didn’t want to, but we had to give up to go to Roca Partida because of the strong wind. The 1st dive of the day was at El Canyon with the water temperature was 22-24 deg.C. The visibility was around 5-15 meters. There was a Manta Ray at the cleaning station. After we observed the Manta Ray we headed to the blue water since the visibility got a little better. The decision was right! We could find a big school of Hammerhead Sharks! Hooray! The only thing that bothered us was the poor visibility in order for us to take good pictures of them. But we still could enjoy the Hammer crowd for about 30 minutes. The 4th dive there was pretty much about Sharks! There were 8 of Silvertip Sharks swimming around the cleaning station. Then, the fat Galapagos Sharks and Dusky Sharks also showed up later. At the end, even a big Turtle appeared as well. Oh, I had to mention that it was very unusual to see Turtles in Socorro! To be continued…
