The day 5 was the last day of diving for this entire season! The 1st dive of the day was at Miyaru Kandu in the Vaavu atoll. The ocean has been stable with very good condition. The only one of my concern was the current condition. It was from outside to inside the channel, good enough. Can’t complain. We were welcomed by a school of Grey Reef Sharks at the edge of the channel. They went back and forth. The regular and fat Dogtooth Tunas and Napoleon appeared as well. What was special of the day was the number of the Bigeye Trevallies and Blue Trevallies! I also introduced the indian ocean version of Elegant firefish as per guests’ request. They were more yellow than the one in Pacific ocean. The 2nd dive was at Kandooma Thila in the South Male atoll. We could witness the hunting scene of a Grey Reef Shark. A part of the back fin of a Redtoothed Triggerfish was sticking out of the Shark mouth! I introduced my group the colorful school of Collare Butterflyfish, which was the fish to see in the Indian ocean. The 3rd dive was at Villivaru GIri. We enjoyed to observe the endemic species such as Maldive Anemonefish, Maldive Triplefins, Maldive Sponge Snails and so on. This spot has never disappointed us!The air temperature was 26-33 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C.
