The day 2, the 1st dive of the day was at Maayaa Thila in the North Ari atoll. It was such a nice day! The sky was super clear with no wind and no wave in the ocean. The surface looked like a big mirror. The visibility wasn’t great but it’s a good sign of bigger number of fish. We saw a great number of Fusiliers and Giant Trevallies, Blufin Trevallies and Dogtooth Tunas attacking the Fusiliers. The 2nd dive was at Fish Head. Even though Fish Head was one of the most popular diving spots in Maldives, however, there was only our boat to dive at that time! So lucky! We encountered with a group of Dolphins. My favorite was the cute little Spotted Eagle Ray! Besides, we could see Grey Reef Sharks relatively in the shore side. The 3rd dive was at Fesdhoo Wreck to enjoy macros! It was like a fun o find Gobbies.
The day 3, as same condition as the day before, very clear weather with no wind. The 1st dive of the day was at Maalhos Thila in the South Ari atoll. We made it a drift diving because the current was a bit strong. There was a blue soft coral world inside of the overhang. It was beautiful. You must bring a underwater light to see the real color of the soft corals here. The 2nd and the 3rd dives were at Moofushi Kandu aiming for Manta Rays. We could successfully observed 5 Manta Rays at their cleaning station! Hooray! The 4th dive was at Dega Thila, which has tall-twin-towers look of reeves. A school of Tiera Batfish welcomed us. The thing impressed me most was the group of cute Blue-green Chromises on the table corals. The air temperature was 26-33 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. To be continued…
