The day 3, the 1st dive of the day was at Kudarah Thila in the South Ari atoll. The weather was nice as a day of the dry season! We try to rest near the reef because the current was a bit strong. Then, found a big school of Neon Fusiliers. Also found Giant Trevallies and Bluefin Trevallies attacking the fusiliers. Then, we enjoyed observing a group of the swim through. Blacktipped Squirrelfish and Indian Bannerfish were seen as we passed the swim through. Besides, the Black Pyramid Butterflyfish were found at the end. The 2nd dive was at Sunisland Out searching for Whale Sharks. Unfortunately we didn’t have a luck to see it. This is what the mother nature is, I think. The 3rd dive was at Rangali Cave. There were many overhangs which were the habitats for many creatures, such as Blacktipped Squirrelfish, Whitetip Soldierfish and Sabre Squirrelfish. They make the vivid wall paper with their beautiful color of red as we shine them with our light! The 4th dive was at Rangali Madivaru. We could observe a thick school of Great Barracudas. Besides, various Butterflyfish were seen. Especially the endemic Pacific Double-saddle and Madagascar Butterflyfish were my favorite! The air temperature was 26-33 deg.C. The water temperature was 26-28 deg.C. To be continued…
