We are on the special route number 4! It’s an irregular trip went through from #Gaafu to #Male including #Laamu, #Thaa, #Meemu and #Vaavu atolls!
The day 5, we were in the Laamu atoll. The 1st and the 2nd dives of the day were at Fushi Kandu. The visibility was good. It was the current incoming to the inside of the channel unexpectedly, but not so strong. There were the big school of Bigeye Trevallies and Blue Trevallies near the reef. In the middle layer, there was a stream of fatty Dogtooth Tunas. Neon Fusiliers and Variable-lined Fusilier were attacked by Giant Trevallies. The thing got me impressed most was the gigantic group of Horse Scad Mackerels! I could not find their end of the group. For the 2nd dive of the day at the same spot, we found 30 to 40 of Grey Reef Sharks. Besides, a school of Spotted Eaglerays appeared! To be continued…
