The day 3, we started with the 1st dive of the day at Fish Head in the North Ari Atoll. A big school of Neon Fusiliers welcomed us. Bengal Snappers were also gathered near the overhang. I love to stare at their vivid yellow color. Near the reef, we found the baby Spotted Eagle Ray having fun! The regular hungry Hawksbill Turtle was always good to take picture of. The 2nd and the 3rd dives were at Moofushi Kandu in the South Ari Atoll. Immediately we found 7 of Reef Manta Rays hovering around the cleaning station. Hooray! Besides, Grey Reef Sharks, Bluestriped Snappers and Oriental Sweetlips were seen.
The day 4, it rained! How rare! The 1st dive of the day was at Rangali Madivaru in the South Ari Atoll, which was well known as one of the Manta spots of the dry season. A gigantic school of Redtoothed Triggerfish was of blocking our views! Suddenly about two dozens of Mobulas passed by. Then, Grey Reef Sharks came to get cleaned at the cleaning station instead of Manta Ray! It was fun to observe them getting cleaned with a wide opened mouth. Finally, Manta Rays arrived there! We were so happy to see them! The 2nd dive was at Maamigili Out. And the 3rd dive was at Maamigili Corner. They were both for searching Whale Sharks. The Blotched Fantail Ray, Whitetip Sharks, Napoleon and Mobulas were seen. Unfortunately there was no Whale Sharks to be seen. The air temperature was 26-33 deg.C. The water temperature was 26-28 deg.C. To be continued…
