The day 5 was the last day of diving for this trip. We’d moved to Guraidhoo Corner in the South Male atoll for the1st dive of the day. We found the gathering of False Moorish Idols and Neon Fusiliers at the corner which the current hit. Then, the regular Dogtooth Tunas and Giant Trevallies appeared to attack. The Grey Reef Sharks were in the deep side unfortunately. But the big Spotted Eagle Rays swam near by us, seemed like they were enjoying to surf in the current. The hungry Hawksbill Turtle was just having breakfast as usual. The 2nd dive was at Villivaru Gili. We should not expect a good visibility here. However it was such a great visibility! Hooray! We could see the big fish such as GT and Bluefin Trevallies attacking the school of Fusilers again and again! Then, we could also enjoy to observe the endemic species. The 3rd dive was at Maagiri Rock in the North Male atoll. The number of the fish was incredible. We found the Girdled Goby, Starry Dragonet, McCosker’s Flasher Wrasse, Buffoon Snake Eel, Napoleon Snake Eel, Juvenile of Goddes Razorfish and etc., etc,,, After the dive we celebrated one of the guests had his memorable 600th dive with us! Congratulations! The air temperature was 26-33 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C.
Thank you all for joining us and also for your precious interests in the sea of Maldives! Hope to see you all again!
