The day 7, the last day of diving for this trip. The 1st dive of the day was at Miyaru Kandu in the #Vaavu Atoll. “Miyaru” means “Shark” in Maldivian Language. With a strong current, we had to work very hard to stay the place to watch for big fish. And it was such a tough current for fish as well that it seemed they were swimming very hard. We saw Grey Reef Sharks, Bluefin Trevallies and Black Jacks. Plus, gigantic Dogtooth Tunas and the school of Bigeye Barracudas appeared at the end. The 2nd dive was at Kandooma Thila in the South Male Atoll. The visibility was really bad. However, we could encounter with dozens of Grey Reef Sharks very closely! There were the school of Bigeye Trevallies in the deep side but they didn’t come closer to us. The last dive of the trip was at Nassimo Thila in the North Male Atoll, which was well known as the place we could observe beautiful and colorful soft corals at the overhang. The big Napoleon came to say good bye to us. My favorite was the juvenile of Macolor Macularis. It was so cute as 5cm size of it with black and white color. The air temperature was 26-33 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm wetsuit was recommended.
Thank you all for joining us, it was such wonderful 7 days! We could not stop laughing all the time. Hope to see you all again!
