Hola! The new year dive trip for Socorro was fantastic! The 1st day at El Canyon, we started encountering with Hammerhead Sharks’ river plus a Tiger Shark during the check dive! We could see the big school of Hammerhead Sharks all day long! Then, at El Boiler about 5 of Giant Manta Rays came to meet us! At Cabo Pierce, we found a Whale Shark on the surface! At Roca Partida, a school of Galapagos Sharks as if its their season of early Spring, plus the mixed school of Silvertip Sharks and Hammerhead Sharks appeared. The school of only giant Hammerhead Sharks and Tiger Sharks was seen at El Canyon on the last day as well. The water temperature was 23-26 deg.C. The air temperature was about 23 deg.C during a day. The combination of a 5mm wet suit and an inner shirt was strongly recommended. Please don’t forget to bring a windbreaker on the deck.
