Hola! It was the first trip for “Socorro Islands” of this season! It was amazing to encounter with Manta Rays, Dolphins and Hammerhead Sharks throughout the trip. We didn’t have the luck with Whale Sharks because a thermocline showed up often in the water during the trip, I guess. We happened to see a big, 5m size of Tiger Shark in Socorro area instead! The water temperature was 23-27 deg.C. The air temperature was 29-31 deg.C. The lowest of 23 deg.C. was where the thermocline was. Without the thermocline the average of the water temp was 25 to 27 deg.C. We recommend to bring a 5mm wetsuit plus a inner shirt. Don’t forget to bring a windbreaker on the deck as well.
