#Maldives Trip Report : DEC. 09-16 2017, #Male-#Ari-#Vaavu Route Vol.1
Welcome the team P’Noam from Thailand to our beautiful M/V Fun Azul in Maldives! It was such a great week we had experienced together. Here is the report of the trip. The day 1, we started with a check dive at Lankan Reef in North Male Atoll aiming for the encounter with Manta Rays. There was a nice weather with no wind and no wave either. I was relieved. Right after our entry three of Manta Rays appeared. Gradually we got more Manta Rays attention, ended up a half dozen of Manta Rays around us! Hooray! We moved to Rasdhoo Madivaru in Rasdhoo Atoll for the 2nd dive. There was no current. Grey Reef Sharks, Whitetip Reef Sharks, Dogtooth Tunas were passing by. We found a gigantic Dogtooth Tuna, which was much bigger than Grey Reef Shark. And it was very strange to see that the school of Grey Reef Sharks following after the big Dogtooth Tuna! Besides, we found five more Dogtooth Tunas as big as the one followed by Grey Reef Shark. Plus, there was a big Napoleon fish as well. We had a great start! The air temperature was 27-32 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm wetsuit was recommended. To be continued…
