There were some difficulties for us to get all the guests aboard on time due to the poor road condition between San Jose del Cabo airport and La Paz. The day 1 for the diving, we started it at La Reina 2 dives in a row trying to avoid the worst case of the visibility after a storm. Still we enjoyed playing with Sea Lions, and the schools of Rainbow Chubs and Burrito Grunt Fish were gorgeous. The 3rd dive was aiming for Night Mobulas! It was around a dozen of them, still exciting! The day 2, we were at Los Islotes all day long. The kids Sea Lions were so playful. They gave us “love bites” on our fins trying to make us pet them. So cute! The day 3, we were at El Bajo and San Francisquito since the condition of the ocean had recovered better than we thought. The huge school of Jacks made a gigantic tornado. Being inside of the Jacks’ tornado was awesome! The darkness made by the wall of the Jacks gave us such an adrenaline rush. We also encountered with Hammerhead Sharks, Mexican Barracudas and so on. The air temperature was high 32-38 deg.C. But the water temperature was various, like 23-30 deg.C. The combination of a 5mm wetsuit plus an inner shirt and a hood was recommended. Please drink water constantly and put sunscreen lotion on the deck so that you don’t get dehydrated. Also don’t forget to bring a pair of flip-flops because the deck gets really hot during a day for barefoot. To be continued…
