Day 5, the last day of diving for this new year trip! The 1st dive of the day was at Maaya Thila in the North Ari atoll. The weather was very nice with no wind nor wave. The Spotted Eagle Ray we encountered at the beginning was a bit different from normal that it didn’t swam away quickly but elegantly swam around us again and again. Thanks! The Grey Reef Sharks and Whitetip Reef Sharks were also there at relatively shallower compare to usual. That was good for us to take their pictures! The 2nd and the 3rd dives were held at Rasdhoo Madivaru in the Rasdhoo atoll. This is the famous Grey Reef Shark point in the dry season. They get closer to the diver and for the diver gets easier to observe them. Thankfully there was a good condition that we could see about a dozen of Grey Reef Sharks going back and forth almost forever! Besides, Spotted Eagle Rays, Napoleon, and surprisingly gigantic Dogtooth Tunas entertained us. Plus, it was rare that we encountered with a school of Blackfin Barracudas! And lastly, a big school of Skipjacks appeared while our safety stop!! Yay! The water temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The visibility was 10-40 meters.
Thank you all for choosing our Fun Azul Fleet and also for making this trip amazing! Hope to see you all again!
