Day 2, our 1st dive of the day was at Fish Head in the North Ari atoll. Despite the fact that this was one of the most popular sites in Maldives, we were exclusively diving there most of the time because we went there earlier! There was a nice current. We just stayed and waited for all sorts of fish coming to us. Very luxury! The 2nd dive was at Fanka Thila in the South Ari atoll. This is one of my favorite sites because we get to see very healthy hard and soft corals. False Moorish Idols and Black Pyramid Butterflyfish welcomed us as always. I recommend to bring underwater light to light up inside of the overhangs. And you can see very colorful softcorals very well. The top of the reef is covered by the coral tables. They are very healthy as well. We enjoyed to see Indian Dascyllus and Blue Green Damselfish dancing above the corals. It was speechlessly beautiful. The 3rd dive was at Omadhoo Thila. This site also has many of overhangs and soft corals for us to see. As you get passed the swim through a big Napoleon awaits you. And we found this male Napoleon surrounded by five female Napoleons. Wow. I am jealous! Besides, we saw Indian Bannerfish, Humpback Red Snappers, Bluestriped Snappers, False Moorish Idols and Black and White Snappers. The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm or 5 mm wetsuit was recommended. The visibility was 20-30m. To be continued…
