Day 4, the 1st dive of the day was at Seventh Heaven in the South Ari atoll. This point has beautiful soft and hard corals. Literally it was heaven with a big school of Neon Fusiliers attacked by Dogtooth Tunas, four Napoleon fish swimming together and the endemic Indian Bannerfish. The 2nd dive was at Dhidhdhoo Out. The endemic species of Imposter Blennies and Evansi Anthias were introduced. And a specialty of Maldives, Powderblue Surgeonfish were seen at the top of the reef while our safety stop. The 3rd dive was at Alimathaa Jetty in the Vaavu atoll as a night shark. Right after the entry, all stars here, such as Tawney Nurse Sharks, Giant Trevallies, Bluefin Trevallies and Pinkwhip rays assembled! After a while, there was the river of Tawney Nurse Sharks made out of dozens of them streaming as I looked up! It was amazing! The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm or 5 mm wetsuit was recommended. The visibility was 10-40m. To be continued…
