Hola! Day 4, the 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd dives were at El Bajo aiming for the encounter with Hammerhead Sharks! The visibility was 15-20 meters. The water temperature was 25-28 deg.C. The gap of the warm water and the cold water surprised me as we were near the thermocline. A lone Hammerhead Shark was seen at the depth of 20 meters and 13. I assumed there was a school of them nearby. But we didn’t see it. Instead, we had a luck to be surrounded by a school of Striped Bonitos. I really like it. The 4th dive of the day was at Punta Fun Baja for a night Mobulas. The water temperature was 28 deg.C. At the end, we saw about a dozen of Mobula Rays together. And the juveniles of Sardine were also beautifully gathered before Mobulas.
Day 5, the 1st dive of the day was at Los Islotes. The visibility was 15-20 meters. The water temperature was 27 deg.C. Because it was the last day, we dove slowly over time. We also spent a long time to take a good group pictures! Of course, most of the time was spent for playing with the lovely Sea Lions. The 2nd dive was at Fang Ming. The visibility was 10 meters. The water temperature was 27 deg.C. We had to check up on the lost Seahorse! I really could not help worrying about him since it was not there the last time I dove this point. And yes, it was there, surviving! He has moved to a new location. Oh, I was so relieved.
Thank you all for choosing our M/V Valentina and also for making this trip fantastic. Hope to see you all again!
