Day 4, the 1st dive of the day was at Nelivaru Haa in the Baa atoll. At this point, there were lot of overhangs. The Maldive Anemonefish were closely observed at the top of the reef. We also found Painted Spiny Lobster. The most impressed us at this point was the number of Luminous Cardinalfish! The 2nd dive was at Muthaafushi Thila. There was a school of Indian Snappers, which looked very similar to Bigeye snappers. It’s hard to tell but the color of the breast fin is different. I like to find out the difference of some fish that has similarity with other fish. It is very interesting. The 3rd dive was at Dhigu Thila. We immediately found some Manta Rays passed by at the shore,,, wait, is this the frenzy of Manta Rays!? Yes, it was! About a dozen of Manta Rays swam around. Besides, a Whale Shark appeared! WOW!!! Amazing!
Day 5, the 1st dive was Kihaadhoofaru Thila. We could have a relax diving observing Redtoothed Triggerfish and False Moorish Idols. Redtoothed Triggerfish was very cute that he tried to hide putting his head in the rocks but its back fin was out as always. And soft corals on the overhangs were so beautiful. The last dive was at Hanifaru Out. We saw the school of False Moorish Idols and Black Pyramid Butterflyfish. After dive we celebrated our guests’ memorial dives of 2500(!) tanks and 1111 tanks of dive! That’s incredible! The air temperature was 26-31 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3-5 mm wetsuit was recommended. The visibility was 10-30m.
Thank you all for joining us and also for making this trip fantastic. Hope to see you all again!
