Hi, we came back from another fantastic experience of diving. Here is the report. The 1st dive was at Fish Tank in the North Male Atoll. We were immediately surprised by the visibility. We could see as far as 30 meters! And the number of the fish we could overlook surprised us. It was massive! The 2nd dive was at Fish Head. We could observe various size of Grey Reef Sharks. The small ones were so cute! The 3rd dive was a night dive at Fesdhoo Goni in the North Ari Atoll aiming for Manta Rays. We could see a couple of Reef Manta Rays closely.
The day 2, we had the 1st and the 2nd dive of the day at Moofushi Kandu in the North Ari Atoll. During the 2nd dive, we could observe 3 of Reef Manta Rays at their cleaning station. We settled at the rock’n roll position to take their pictures and made it for a long time. Besides, we saw a Spotted Eagle Ray passing above. The 3rd dive was at Radhdhiggaa Thila in the South Ari Atoll. This site is famous for its beautiful soft corals. Especially the colorful Whitetip Soldierfish and Blacktipped Squirrelfish we can see at the overhang are very gorgeous! We also saw the 5 of Dogtooth Tunas passing by in the outer seaside. Even Grey Reef Sharks appeared as well.
The air temperature was 26-33 deg.C. The water temperature was 28-29 deg.C. The 3mm wetsuit was recommended. To be continued…
