The day 5 was the last day of diving for this trip. We started the 1st and 2nd dive of the day at Nelivaru Haa in the Baa Atoll. The number of the Luminous Cardinalfish was incredible. We really could not see anything else because of them. They were gathering around the overhang and the swim through, so we could enjoy swimming through a tunnel of the Luminous Cardinalfish as well. I am very looking forward to see how big they grow proliferously here. However, they were often attacked by the hunter, Bluefin Trevallies. We also enjoyed observing Longnose Hawkfish near the wall. Besides, many macro, like Blennies and Gobbies were seen. Especially, Muliti-bared Pipefish we found made me happy. The last dive of the day was at Hanifaru Out. There were many McCosker’s Flasher Wrasses, which was one of my favorite, wide opening their fins at the area not that deep. And Exquisite Wrasses were even more! They were showing the courtship behavior here and there. It was so beautiful just like the flower petals dancing with the wind in the water.
Thank you all for joining us and also for making this trip wonderful. Hope to see you all again! Yet, it was very disappointing that we could not see the feeding frenzy Manta Rays this time. We will see what is going on,,,
